Efter reklamen: Metgalan 2024: looks från röda mattan
Under natten till tisdag, svensk tid, gick Met-galan 2024 av stapeln. Galan, som ofta beskrivs som årets största modehändelse, hålls till förmån för Metropolitan Museum of Arts kostym- och modeavdelning och arrangeras tillsammans med tidningen Vogue. Galan markerar starten för museets utställning, vars tema av speglas i gästernas looks.
Temat för året var Sleeping beauties: reawakening fashion och ledde galan gjorde inga mindre än Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny och Chris Hemsworth.

Röda mattan på Met-galan 2024
Men vi backar bandet! För innan galan började riktades i vanlig ordning blickarna mot den kändistäta röd mattan. Tillställningen är känd för gästernas kreativa klädval – och årets upplaga var inget undantag. Klädkoden för kvällen var ”The garden of time”, inspirerat av J.G. Ballards novell från 1962 med samma namn.
Zendaya kom i – inte bara en utan – två klänningar. Den ena signerad Maison Margiela och den andra Givenchy. Gigi Hadid bar en otrolig blomklänning från Thom Browne och Jennifer Lopez anlände i en Schiaparelli-kreation.
